I am a descendant of Thomas Vickery 1760 who married Jane Baker 1760, whose son was William Vickery 1784 married to Elizabeth Pearce 1785. His son was William Vickery 1822 married to Mary Leigh 1822 ane whose son was Henry Vickery 1854;. He was my grandfather but I am afraid I never knew him. I believe the earlier Vickerys were yeoman farmers but Henry appeared to have moved to Chertsey in Surrey and started a bakery business. My father was Harry Wellington and he was the youngest in the family. My maiden name was Gillian Vickery. Thank you - Gillian Bryan. Below is my grandfather.
