Sampford Fair: Saturday 26 April 2008

The Sampford Peverell Society will be staging a revival of our Charter Fair to celebrate the completion of several projects undertaken during the last two years. There will be displays about these projects in the Village Hall, where refreshments will also be available. The Fair itself, however, will be held on the Picnic Ground (between the Car Park and the Canal) and will have the theme of a traditional fair set in the time of ‘Merrie England’. There will be a full programme of entertainments, stalls selling a wide range of items from the period, hog-roast and ale tent, traditional side-shows and children’s activities, and lots, lots, more!

It will be a fun day out for all the family; best of all, entry is entirely FREE!

So, please make a note of the date in your diary now about this major Village event of the year. Leaflets containing the full programme will be available from mid-March.
